 Exciting Sailing on Black Diamond

Sailing North East offers people the chance to experience 'hands on' sailing on ocean going yachts offshore. We provide sail training, cruises stretching from half a day to crossing the Atlantic and we tailor trips to suit your personal requirements.

Even if you have never sailed before, our professional crew will welcome you on board for your first trip and will invite you, under their guidance to become involved in running the vessel.  If you have sailed before we will encourage you to develop the skills you have and progress to a new level.

We invite our guests to be fully involved in running the yacht this includes:

  • Helming

  • Watch Keeping

  • Setting sails

  • Use of radar, radio and satellite navigation aides

  • Passage planning

  • Computer skills

  • Use of AIS

  • Cooking & housekeeping
