Tall Ships Itinerary for 2008

In 2008  Sailing North East will again be entering Black Diamond of Durham in the Tall Ships Race.  She has an exceptional chance of winning her class in the race.  Listed below is the itinerary:

 

 

2008 TALL SHIPS’ RACES

 

 

Leg 1 - (Delivery) - 5th - 20th July - Hartlepool - Liverpool via Aberdeen, Inverness, Loch Ness,

Fort William, Bangor (Northern Ireland), Isle of Man

Leg 2 - (Race 1)  - 21 July - 3 Aug - Liverpool to Maloy (Norway)

Leg 3 - (Cruise in Company) 3 Aug - 11 Aug - Maloy - Bergen (Norway)

Leg 4 - (Race 2) - 12 Aug - 22 Aug - Bergen - Den Helder (Netherlands)

Leg 5 - (Homeward Bound) 23 Aug - 31 Aug Hartlepool via Amsterdam

 

No experience necessary, training given by professional crew.
